It is my pleasure to inform you that the next GEOSTAT summer school will be held in the period 24-31 July 2011 at the Koblenz-Landau University. We will again gather some leading researchers and developers in the field of R+OSGeo: Roger Bivand (nhh.no), Edzer Pebesma (uni-muenster.de), Gerard Heuvelink (wur.nl), Markus Neteler (iasma.it), Olaf Conrad (geowiss.uni-hamburg.de), Markus Metz (uni-ulm.de), Dylan Beaudette (ucdavis.edu).  This year we will also promote topics such as: web-based computing, WPS client-server environments, 3D and 4D geostatistics, combining R+SAGA/GRASS.
